Full Circle Case

M-gineers

From complicated to ingenious.

Macobo-Stabo. A name with a long track record, but also with an image that hadn't grown along with the company.

The expertise was there. So was the ambition. What was missing was a brand that showed who they are today.

The story in four chapters.

“Turn our complex expertise into a brand with a face.”

The call

Macobo-Stabo brought a range of disciplines together: stability, building services, sustainability, acoustics and consultancy.

The brief was clear: create a sharp positioning and identity that expresses the company's versatility. And maybe give some thought to … the name.

How far do we take the rebrand?

The dare

We took Macobo-Stabo on a journey of change. Step by step, we laid bare the company culture, sharpened the mission and vision and defined the values. A fresh story took shape.

And in the end … a new name too.

Enter M-gineers.

The payoff

A new identity was a given. A new name was more sensitive. Until M-gineers popped up in our brainstorms. The seed was planted.

The green M stayed as a subtle nod to the past, and at the same time became the leitmotif of the new brand.

Then came a brandbook, a website, photography, a testimonial film as kick-off, a recruitment campaign, advertising and social content. The new identity found its place everywhere.

A little later, the inviting tagline “Let’s meet, let’s match” saw the light of day too, with the M once again in a leading role.

From hard to pronounce to impossible to forget.

The fearless

Letting go of a name with history? That's not something you do lightly.

But sometimes you know it's time for something that sounds better, sticks better and says more about who you are today.

M-gineers was that leap. With the necessary powers of persuasion on our side and a healthy dose of guts on the client's, the new name was embraced. Thanks for the trust!
